SCAM ALERT!!!
Read this article for information on a recent scam targeting mystery shoppers.  Scammers use the names of real mystery shopping companies to get mystery shoppers to cash cashiers checks for them.  Do not cash cashier's checks for anyone.  No mystery shopping company should be asking you to do so.

Please Understand, Not Everyone Wants to Help You!

And there are many who want to take what they can get and run!  We are NOT that type of website!!  This website is completely free and the links are legitimate mystery shopping companies who are hiring mystery shoppers!

Let me tell you about myself and why this website is different.  Perhaps if you know a little about me you will see that this website is not one of the many that are just waiting to steal a dollar from you.

First off, I am a stay at home mother.  I have been for nearly 7 years.  I have also been mystery shopping for seven years successfully.  I say successfully because I have been shopping from the week I started seven years ago.  I have chosen at times to shop part-time and at other times full time.  I have chosen to take a couple of months off at times.  I shopped at my convenience because my children are my number one priority.  If making money had been my first priority, I could have kept the wonderful job I left for them.  I was making much more money in the entertainment and education industry, but even when I chose to stay home to raise my children, I also felt a need to stay connected with the 'working world' and to keep my skills in tune because I knew that one day I'd be re-entering the work force once again.

So I searched long and hard for ways to 'work from home'.  I don't know if you have just started your venture in this area or if you have been around the block, but I can say, sadly, that I have been around the block and most sites that offer you work from home fall far short of their promises.

On many of the work from home websites you'll find schemes and multilevel marketing campaigns which require you to bug the life out of your family and friends either selling things or signing them up to bug their friends.  Unfortunately there seem to be way more scams sites out there than legitimate ones.  That doesn't mean the legitimate ones aren't there, but that they can get lost in the mix.

Well, a family member of mine who worked in the clothing retail industry told me one day, "I have to work late because our store has a mystery shopper coming in and we need to score well if we are getting bonuses this quarter".  I asked her, "You really get mystery shoppers in your store"?  She told me they have them every quarter and they are checked regularly.    I thought, now that is something I would like to do!

I began looking online for ways to become a mystery shopper and found oodles and oodles of sites offering to 'make me into a shopper'.  I paid a fee and then got very little in return.  Many of the sites had too many deadend links.  I spent at least a year trying to accumulate a list of companies that offered jobs to people who mystery shopped.  I kept a running tab of whom I shopped for and eventually found that my own hard work had gotten me further than any of the sites I paid for information.  It was sad that back then there was no website out there that just offered quality help to people for free?!  Some of the sites that use to offer a few free links either disappeared over time or just had bad links on them.  That was a shame because if the sites had only offered the list of companies to me that were promised, I could have saved over a year's time, made many fewer mistakes along the way, and my money would been well spent instead of utterly wasted. Ah well, c'est la vie!

That is when I decided to take my hard work and build my own website.  At first it was just for me to use myself, but then I felt, 'If these other companies can make money not helping people, I could take what I have learned and make up for their loss."  All I needed to do was add a couple of pages to my site that explained how to do everything.  It really wasn't so difficult and I knew I was working against the scams in my own way in trying to help other moms like myself who just want to help their families as much as possible while staying home to care for the children.

So in a nutshell, yes, there are lots of sites to choose from, but only a few will offer what they promise.  You can pay for a directory of companies who hire shoppers and you might get lucky and get a few legitimate links, but chances are you will be disappointed more times than not and why pay when they are all on this site now for free??  Save yourself some time and money.    You deserve for someone to help you and not rip you off!
